These are some of the titles I have worked on recently. Most of my work is currently in manuscript evaluation (developmental editing) and line-editing/copyediting of fiction, creative non-fiction, and cultural anthropology.

I work primarily with indie authors and authors seeking to query novels with traditional publishers. In addition, I write reader reports for New Books in German suggested titles (mostly narrative non-fiction).

Over the past few years, I have worked on titles for publishers including the Alaska Journal of Anthropology, the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, Berghahn, Bloomsbury, Brill, I.B. Tauris, Routledge, De Gruyter, Deutscher Kunstverlag, Palgrave Macmillan, and the University of Toronto Press.

As part of my previous career as a cultural anthropologist, and earlier work as an academic editor before switching to fiction, I line-edited or copyedited over one hundred and fifty research articles and author submissions to leading academic journals in the social sciences and humanities, mostly within cultural anthropology.

Finally, I am fluent in Croatian, German, and Spanish and speak intermediate Czech, French, and Mandarin. I love working on editorial projects with authors from all these language backgrounds!
